About Karen

Karen has been a nurse for 30+ years, and a mental health therapist since 2014. The focus of her bachelor's degree was in gerontology (the study of older adults). She has a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, and she has a post-graduate certification in sex therapy.
As a therapist, Karen is dedicated to helping individuals and couples cultivate fulfilling and healthy sexual relationships. She brings a compassionate, open-minded approach to therapy, creating a safe, judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable exploring sensitive and often complex issues around sexuality, intimacy, and emotional connection.
She supports her clients in understanding their sexual identities, addressing obstacles like low desire, performance anxiety, erectile dysfunction, menopause, resentment, and improving communication within their intimate relationships.
Drawing on a blend of therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's unique needs, she empowers clients to overcome challenges, build confidence, and embrace positive, holistic views of their sexual well-being. She helps her clients foster deeper connections, heal past hurts, and create a stronger foundation for intimacy in their lives.
